1. Co-hosted Citizen Festival (Started in 2014)

CITIZEN WATCH

Citizen Watch co-hosted the Citizen Festival in 2024 with the Nishitokyo City, where its headquarters is located. The event was a great success, with a total of 700 participants from all over Japan, mainly from the Kanto area.

In addition to the table tennis tournament, there was also a table tennis event corner and an original watch-making corner, all of which were filled with smiling faces of the participants. It was impressive to see the children wearing the watches they made while playing table tennis.

We will continue to hold fun events as social contribution activities through table tennis.

2. International Exchange through Table Tennis (Stared from 2023)

CITIZEN WATCH

The CITIZEN Table Tennis Club participated in the 50th anniversary celebration of Japan and Vietnam held in 2023. They got to know each other at once through table tennis, although they could not communicate in the local language. They played matches with local Vietnamese players, coached children, and worked out together with para-athletes, and had a meaningful exchange experience.

We will continue to convey the joy of sports through table tennis, both in Japan and abroad, and deepen exchanges in various regions.

The CITIZEN Group is actively participating in local traditional events to deepen its interaction with the community and help revitalize it. The Fire Festival of Yoshida, held on August 26 and 27 in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is one of the three strangest festivals in Japan, and is also an "Oyama Jimai" festival that appreciates safety in climbing Mt. Fuji. In the evening of the 26th, about 80 torches, each about 3 meters high, are lit, turning the national highway into a path of fire. The CITIZEN Group not only dedicates the big torches to the festival, but also cooperates as the organizer of the festival and as a mikoshi (portable shrine) bearer.

5. Support for the 2022 Setouchi Triennale Festival (Started in 2013)

TOKYO BIJUTSU

Since 2013, Tokyo Bijutsu has been a steadfast supporter of the Setouchi Triennale festival, a triennial event held on the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. This festival serves as a platform for introducing contemporary art to a diverse audience both within Japan and internationally. Aligned with the festival's overarching theme of "Restoration of the Sea" and the vision of a hopeful "Sea of Hope" for all corners of the world, it strives to bring attention to environmental concerns.

In 2022, we proudly participated as a supporting sponsor in this esteemed art festival, a pinnacle of artistic expression in Japan, which attracted a remarkable 720,000 visitors.
