Amid changes in the global environment and increasingly severe social issues, we recognize that the importance of corporate responsibility is further increasing. We aim to provide sustainable value in pursuit of business models designed in view of environmental conservation and social contribution in addition to business growth.
Under Medium-term Management Plan 2027, we are working to create and expand sustainable products that take into account major social issues in each of our business fields. These products are based on our corporate philosophy and aimed at achieving consistency between our business strategy, including our past sustainability initiatives, and our materiality, thereby contributing to solving various social issues and stimulating business growth. We will also promote the construction of sustainable factories with sustainable production facilities and offices that comprehensively consider compliance, human rights, labor practices, business continuity planning (BCP), and productivity improvement, in addition to reducing environmental impacts, in order to contribute to a sustainable society and strengthening of the management base.
To achieve these, we have identified five material issues: responding to climate change and contributing to a recycling-oriented society; contributing to better quality of life; providing solutions in industry fields; enhancing job satisfaction and developing human resources; and fulfilling social responsibility. We have been making steady progress in Group-wide initiatives to address these issues.
Guided by its corporate philosophy, “Loved by citizens, working for citizens.” The CITIZEN Group will further promote these initiatives to contribute to a sustainable society. We will also work to increase our corporate value through appropriate information disclosure and close communication with our stakeholders. We look forward to your continued understanding and support.
