Capital investment by the LVMH Group
to La Joux-Perret S.A., a Subsidiary of Citizen Group
Citizen Watch Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishi-Tokyo City, Tokyo; President: Yoshitaka Oji) announces that its subsidiary, Manufacture La Joux-Perret S.A. (Headquarters: La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland), has accepted investment from LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE (Headquarters: Paris, France; hereinafter referred to as the LVMH Group).

La Joux-Perret S.A. is located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the heart of the Swiss watch industry. The company develops a wide variety of movements in-house, and is highly regarded for its outstanding capabilities for product design and development as well as manufacturing.
In 2012, it became part of the Citizen Group and has since developed high-precision solar quartz movements in addition to traditional mechanical movements. It is a key partner for many Swiss and international watch brands.
Since 2022, La Joux-Perret S.A. has been providing high-precision solar quartz movements to brands owned by the LVMH Group (TAG Heuer, Tiffany & Co.). This relationship will be strengthened, and extended to other watch brands of the Group. It has also been decided that La Joux-Perret will accept investment from the LVMH Group. This strategic alliance will reinforce the growth and long-term relationship between the two groups. For the LVMH Group, it guarantees a continuous supply of high-quality movements and establishes a long-term partnership with major Swiss watch manufacturers. For Citizen Group, it recognizes the value of its movement portfolio, enhances La Joux-Perret’s reputation and standing within the industry, and opens new growth prospects.
Moving forward, both companies will continue to collaborate and work towards the development and enhancement of the watch industry.
