2. Mt. Fuji Yoshida-gate Trail Area Cleanup Activities

CITIZEN ELECTRONICS

In 2022, we extended our commitment to environmental preservation by participating in the Fuji Yoshida-gate trail area cleanup activities organized by the Fuji Yoshida Tourism Promotion Service. In adherence to infection control measures, we maintained small groups with no more than five participants from each organization. On that day, 84 individuals from 21 organizations participated, successfully collecting 90kg of noncombustible waste and 240kg of combustible waste. Divided into teams, our organization focused on cleaning the stretch of the public road leading straight up to Mt. Fuji, a task we had also undertaken the previous year. Surrounded by lush greenery, we felt the embrace of nature as we worked to clean up several kilometers of the area. Our manufacturing site is fortunate to be located in such a naturally blessed environment, and we remain committed to actively participating in environmental preservation initiatives. We acknowledge that nature conservation is a shared social responsibility for companies and individuals.
