Citizen Holdings Co., Ltd. ("Citizen") recognizes that the protection of personal information on every customer is an important social responsibility. To ensure compliance with the Personal Information Protection Law of Japan, Citizen has established this Privacy Policy. 1. Personal information
Personal information on customer is any information by which any individual customer can be identified, such as name, address, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.
2. Purpose of collection and use of personal information
Citizen will ask for the customer's consent before collecting his/her personal information. Citizen will clearly convey to the customer the purpose of use of personal information at the time of collection. Citizen will use the personal information only to fulfill the scope of the purpose to which a customer has consented.
3. Non-disclosure of personal information to third parties
Personal information obtained from a customer will not be disclosed to any third parties except for one or more of the following conditions:
- where the customer's consent is given;
- when the disclosed personal information cannot identify the customer;
- when the personal information is disclosed to a third party who is bound by non-disclosure agreement with Citizen and used only for the purpose to which customer has consented (In such case, such third parties will be obligated to assume stringent control of the customer's personal information to prevent abuse or misuse);
- when the disclosure of personal information is required by law, judicial order, or the like; or
- when the disclosure of personal information is necessary for the benefit of the relevant customer or the public interest.
- Before providing information to a third party, the following information is provided and made available to the respective customer and discontinuance of provision of such information shall be completed upon the appropriate request of customer to discontinue such provision: 1)The purpose of obtaining information is to provide such information to a third party; 2)Specific personal data items to be provided to a third party; 3)The means by which such personal information is provided to a third party; and 4)Provisions of personal information identifying individual customers shall be suspended upon the customers' request.
- When another entity succeeds to the business of Citizen due to a merger, corporate separation, transfer of business or otherwise.
4. Managing personal information
Supervisors for customers' personal information undertake the necessary and appropriate measures to protect customers' personal information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification or leakage.

6. Disclosure, amendment, erasure or discontinuance of usage of personal information
If a customer wishes disclosure, amendment, erasure or discontinuance of usage of his/her personal information that was provided to Citizen, please fill in the relevant document specified in Request Form for the personal information and send by post, together with the Identity Verification Documents, to Citizen's Personal Information Desk. For the prevention of falsification of personal information, Citizen will act on such requests only if Citizen can positively confirm that the relevant customer has made such request.

7. Personal information on children
Citizen protects personal information on children in the same strict manner as it protects the personal information on adult customers. Citizen will collect or obtain personal information on children only after obtaining the parental consent.
8. Revision of the Privacy Policy
Citizen may from time to time revise its Privacy Policy. Therefore, customers are advised to check the latest revision of the Privacy Policy.
